Wayne Jones Named Chief Business Development Officer of Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – April 2, 2007 — Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center (PBGMC) recently announced that Wayne Jones, FACHE has been named chief business development officer.

Jones recently transitioned from chief operating officer, a position he held for nearly four years, to this important and critical position. In this new role, he will direct all aspects of the hospital’s business development objectives and initiatives and will assess and analyze business opportunities that meet the needs of the community, patients and physicians.

Prior to joining PBGMC, Jones held senior level positions at Stony Brook University Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and Queens Hospital Center, all in New York. He received a Master’s degree in Public Health Administration from Columbia University in New York City and a Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College in NY.

Jones is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a board member of the American Heart Association. He resides in Wellington with his wife, Theresa and son, Brandon.
