When it Comes to Your Heart, Experience Counts
For nearly 25 years, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center has provided all-inclusive programs and services dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. We were the first hospital in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast to offer open heart surgery and continue to be committed to providing the most advanced technology in the market today. We are proud to offer quality care and our cardiologists, vascular surgeons and experienced nurses and support staff work together as an integrated team in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of heart and vascular conditions.
Non-Invasive Cardiology
Dedicated physicians and staff provide non-invasive services with the latest technology for the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular disease. Thousands of diagnostic tests are performed each year, including nuclear medicine, echocardiograms, ultrasounds and EKGs.
Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Specially-trained cardiologists view images of the heart and arteries in labs designed to perform a wide range of diagnostic procedures. The cath lab also provides specialized technology for the treatment of heart rhythm and extremity blood vessel conditions.
Vascular Surgery
Our physicians use advanced technologies and procedures to treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions through Vascular Surgery, Endovascular Surgery and Venous Surgery.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Our comprehensive outpatient program is designed for people recovering from heart attack, bypass or valve surgery, and angioplasty or stent procedures. Our two-phase program includes outpatient services that utilize exercise, education and counseling to help patients with cardiovascular conditions reduce their risks and help prevent further complications from heart disease.
A patient referred to the outpatient program will most often participate in a 12-week program, depending on the patient’s needs and insurance requirements. During each session, the patient’s heart rate and rhythm are continuously monitored and blood pressure is frequently checked. Physicians can expect reports back to their offices regarding their patients’ progress.
Cardiac Rehabilitation Services are located just minutes from the hospital at the Outpatient Rehabilitation Center at 2503 Burns Road. For more information about our services, please call 561-625-5070.
