Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is pleased to announce that J. Michael “Mike” Cowling has joined the hospital as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Cowling is an experienced and respected healthcare professional with more than 20 years of extensive experience in management of hospitals and multi-hospital healthcare systems.

“Mike’s knowledge of healthcare, commitment to quality and dedication to building positive working relationships with physicians and employees to provide the highest level of patient care will provide a strong administrative foundation at the hospital,” said Marsha Powers, Senior Vice President of Regional Operations. “His proven track record of accomplishments makes him an ideal choice to lead the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center team.”

Mr. Cowling holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
