Our Outpatient Rehabilitation Center offers a pulmonary rehabilitation program designed to help patients overcome the physical and emotional trauma of lung diseases.

The program encourages patients to progress at a safe, comfortable pace to achieve the highest level of fitness possible.  All therapies are designed to help patients return to a healthy, active lifestyle.

The program includes:

 - 24 sessions over 12 weeks conducted by certified respiratory
   therapists
 - An individualized evaluation and exercise program to regain
   strength and endurance
 - Close cardiac, oxygen saturation, blood pressure and heart
   rate monitoring
 - Patient education on pulmonary disease, general exercise
   principles, medications, breathing retraining, nutrition,
   life style modification and weight loss
 - Optional program continuation following discharge at the
   Wellness Center

Requirements:

 - Diagnosis of a pulmonary condition
 - A referral and written prescription from a physician
 - Copies of PFT, EKG, chest x-ray and a recent physician H&P
