Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is one of the first hospitals in Palm Beach County offering minimally invasive heart surgery as a treatment option for patients suffering from heart valve disease. Unlike traditional open heart surgery where the breast bone needs to be surgically separated, minimally invasive valve surgery is performed through a small incision between the ribs.

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center Earns High Performance in Heart Failure in U.S. News & World Report’s 2019-20 Best Hospitals

Palm Beach Gardens, FL – July 29th, 2019 – Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center earned high performance marks in the category of heart failure for the state of Florida in the annual U.S. News & World Report’s 2019-2020 Best Hospitals rankings for adult clinical specialties.

Hospitals are ranked nationally in specialties from cancer to urology and rated in common procedures and conditions, such as heart bypass surgery, hip and knee replacement and COPD. Hospitals are also ranked regionally within states and major metro areas.

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center was the first hospital in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast to perform open-heart surgery, and remains one of the area’s leading heart hospitals.
