Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center Appoints New Intensive Care Unit Director

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center appoints Heather Smallegagne to the position of Intensive Care Unit Director.  With over 20 years of nursing experience, Smallegagne will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the Intensive Care Unit at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.

Prior to her time with Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Smallegagne spent the past two years as the clinical manager of the telemetry unit at another South Florida area hospital.  Before that, she spent six years at sister hospital St. Mary’s Medical Center, as a nurse in the intensive care and critical care unit.  Smallegagne is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, with a degree in nursing.
